Playing around with my new camera

To try out the new camera, I first walked home from work with it. Usually when I don’t have my camera, I see loads of interesting things… however, Murphy’s law prevailed, and I didn’t really see anything interesting, so later that evening I headed to the park with my Weinan photo club friends, here are some photos from the new camera. Still getting used to it!
A Muslim man looks on as school kids commute home.
I like this shot. It’s probably the kids first bike. It looks quite new. and he already has a puncture. He must be gutted. But, I imagine his glee after it’s speedy and cheap repair, as he rides off for adventure. The look on his face is “My bike, what are you doing to my bike… will it ever work again? 🙁
Cute baby! This was a crop of a much bigger photo. Thanks to the super high resolution of the 5D2, you can crop a part of an image to ‘zoom in’ without loosing hardly any quality!
Always some well looked-after dogs in this park.
Helping his dad spot the good photos.
…Helping his dad with his bag.
…picking his dad up to get a good shot, and…
He actually dropped the camera. Oops! It was okay, it didn’t have far to fall.
Trying to get that “film” look.
That’s all for now, for the full set look, here.
