Day three was beach day! With pedlos, Jet-skis, and Tim — oh my!
As with Day One and Day Two, here’s the map from Day Three. You’ll note the yellow line goes out to sea. That was on the jet ski, not swimming.
In the morning took some pictures of the bus stop near our hotel so we could later check which buses went there.
Reunited with Tim! Haha. Long-time readers will know that I knew Tim back in university, and then when I first came to China, he was living and teaching here in Weinan with me. By sheer co-incidence, we’d both planned to go to Qingdao. Also pictured; Aya – Tim’s girlfriend.
B on a pedlo. Myself and Beryl had a 2-seater, as did Aya and Tim. We also went out on Jet skis.
Tim was due to go home that evening, so we said goodbye and grabbed some photos.
They have a large naval museum in Qingdao, we didn’t go in, but you could see the ships easily from elsewhere.
Looking over to “Small Qingdao” island, and it’s lighthouse.
It was quite windy here!
Me with the sea.
So, Qingdao was quite good for car-spotting. I saw two Ferraris and one Masseratti among other things. However, this caught my interest. This is the standard Honda Civic sedan here. Nothing too strange about that. The owner has put on Type R stickers but most interestingly has found some EP3 Honda Civic Type R wheels. Wheels from a car that was never even sold in China. Anyway, I’m boring 90% of readers, so… moving on…
Finally, small Qingdao’s lighthouse. 🙂
Sorry there weren’t too many photos from day three; I didn’t take my camera out, as I knew we’d be going in the sea. So we just took B’s compact.
love love love all these holiday pics! keep them coming! xx
