“121″ is the name of my friend’s new photo studio he’s opened up in Weinan. It’s a venture between Winfred and some of his friends (you may remember him from previous posts.) Anyway, I’ve been helping him out with his company portfolio and in return I get to play around in a full size studio with over 2000 watts of light. It’s quite good fun. These are my photos from the first time in the studio…


This is 李卓 “Li Zhou.” A friend of a friend of Winfreds. She was kind enough to model. It’s quite interesting trying to get the most out of a model when you don’t even share native languages.

I took lots, but they tend to get a bit samey. Anyway, I’ve been back since, and I’ll post the photos from those times soon. I’ve been reluctant to post them up here, because I don’t know how much of an audience I have for this kind of photography.
